We are also learning to simplify fractions and doing lots of problem solving individually and together.  Last week's IXL activities are due this Wednesday.  I gave extra time for these activities so the students would have a better understanding. These are the only MATH IXL activities this week.  This Friday, I will have a shorter Math Computation quiz (see the Math Computation that came home today). We will soon be moving on to multiplying and dividing fractions.
Science:Topics of Study –  We are continuing our study of our Solar System and Gravity.  Important Vocabulary includes:  gravity, friction, weight, spring scale, solar system, planet, star, revolution, axis, inner planets, moon outer planets. Study questions came home today.  We will go over the answer to these questions in class tomorrow.  Students should use these questions along with the Lesson on the Solar System and Gravity to study for their test.  I will send more example questions home tomorrow night.  The Science test will be this Friday.
Language Arts:Topics of Study –We will continue with our Informative Writing Unit, but will not have Spelling. Also,we are going to begin practicing our Reading/Grammar skills with Test Practice Sheets and these will replace our Reading Log and IXL this week. The practice sheets are due this Friday.
